Challenge
High-volume firewall events had to remain searchable while also feeding usage reports and daily archive processes.
Solution model
A dedicated syslog listener forwarded normalized batches to an API service. The API provided filtered access for reporting jobs and maintained daily storage and archive workflows.
Operational outcome
Traffic visibility, scheduled processing and archive operations were separated into manageable components, improving reliability and troubleshooting.
