This is an illustrative solution scenario, not a completed customer project or a measured success story.
The need: different user groups
Staff, students and short-term visitors do not have identical access requirements. This example considers temporary internet access for visitors attending a seminar or campus event. Access to student and staff systems is assessed separately from this scope.
An access approach with Netyum One
Cloud Hotspot can be considered for the visitor portal and session management. Separating the guest network from institutional resources remains part of wireless and firewall design. A working portal alone does not prove correct network separation; access rules require their own checks.
A pilot before the event
Tests cover portal opening on different devices, session expiry and attempted access to restricted institutional resources. Expected attendance, wireless coverage and support responsibilities are planned together. Personal-data collection and retention are defined in line with institutional policies.
Operation and review
After the event, operators can review temporary access, support requests and unexpected sessions. If Analyzer is deployed, reviewing network events adds a separate visibility layer. This is a planning example, not a project or success rate attributed to a particular educational institution.
