This is an illustrative solution scenario, not a completed customer project or a measured success story.
The need: connect stay status with access decisions
A reservation, an active stay and an internet session are different operational records. This scenario explores how the stay status managed by reception can inform guest access. Multiple guests and devices sharing one room need to be considered from the start.
A solution approach with Netyum One
Cloud Hotspot provides the guest portal and access management layer. The PMS fields involved must be agreed for the installed software version and integration scope. A room number should not be treated as a permanent personal identifier: room changes and same-day reuse need separate handling.
What to test during a pilot
The acceptance plan covers arrivals, stay extensions, room changes and departures. It also defines reception procedures for delayed updates or a temporary connection outage. Each test compares the expected access behaviour with the session information visible to the operator.
Expected value and evaluation
The objective is a more consistent workflow for repetitive guest-access tasks. Support requests, operator steps and session closure can be examined during the pilot. These are suggested evaluation areas, not measured outcomes from a customer deployment.
